At Workplace Pride we hold regular member exchanges. These member exchanges are interactions, collaborations, and support networks established among members of Workplace Pride who share a commitment to promoting LGBTIQ+ inclusion in the workplace. These exchanges involve the sharing of knowledge, experiences, best practices, and resources related to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in work environments.
Hope to see you there,

Supporting LGBTIQ+ Employees: Overcoming Challenges in Business Travel and Relocation
Member Only Event
Moderator: Christine Holtkamp: Relationship Manager Workplace Pride
11 February 2025
17:00 – 18:00 CET
In a world where anti-LGBTIQ+ and anti-gender equality sentiment is on the rise, having robust policies to protect employees is more crucial than ever. Whether it is a short-term business trip or a long-term relocation to a challenging region, employers bear a significant responsibility for their employees’ safety. At the same time, employees should proactively assess the environment they are entering.
What policies or processes can employers implement to support employees who feel unsafe traveling or decide against it altogether? And, if an employee declines such travel, how does it impact their career trajectory?
This discussion brings together three speakers from diverse sectors—private, public, and NGOs—to share their experiences and insights on navigating travel and extended stays in countries where the safety and rights of LGBTIQ+ individuals are far from guaranteed.
These sessions are designed to be informal and to bring members together to share experience, to learn from one another, and to build connections for future collaboration.
