SUMMARY:Accelerating Workplace Belonging in Poland
DESCRIPTION:“Uniting Polish business\, diplomats\, and civil society to build a culture of belonging that turns inclusive leadership into a competitive advantage.” \nRegister TodayOverviewProgramme SpeakersLocationCelebrate Warsaw PrideOverview\n\nWe would like to invite you to “Accelerating Workplace Belonging in Poland” on Friday\, 12 June 2026\, in Warsaw\, Poland. \nThe Polish business landscape is at a defining crossroads. As legal frameworks evolve and social expectations shift\, the mandate for corporate leaders has transitioned from basic compliance to the active cultivation of talent. At the heart of this effort is the understanding that human potential is only fully realised in environments of psychological safety and authentic belonging — including for LGBTIQ+ employees and all other marginalised communities. \nThis conference will bring together major employers\, experts\, policymakers\, and civil society organisations to explore practical strategies for creating inclusive workplaces that support sustainable business growth and unlock the full potential of people in Poland. \nEvent Details: \nTitle: Accelerating Workplace Belonging in Poland: Unlocking potential through inclusive leadership \nDate: Friday\, 12 June 2026 \nLocation: ING Hubs\, 97 Pańska\, 00-834 Warszawa \nHost: ING Poland \nSupporters: Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Warsaw\, Accenture\, Randstad\, Shell\, BNP Paribas\, Campaign Against Homophobia\, Foundation Znaki Równości\, Empower Beyond Foundation – LGBT+ Diamonds Awards \nThe goal is simple: ‘To unlock the full potential of our people’. \n\nNote: This is an invitation-only event. Registration is free but required in advance. Invitations are personal and non-transferable. \nProgramme \n \nSpeakers\n\nLocation\n\nING Hubs97 Pańska\, 00-834 Warszawa\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCelebrate Warsaw Pride\nCelebrate Warsaw Pride – A Historic 25th Anniversary\nJoin ING and Workplace Pride as we march together during the 25th anniversary of Warsaw Pride (Parada Równości) on Saturday\, June 13\, 2026 — a powerful and historic moment for the LGBTQ+ movement in Poland and across Europe. \nWhat started in 2001 as a courageous gathering of just 300 pioneers has grown into one of the largest and most politically significant equality marches in Central Europe. Twenty-five years later\, Warsaw Pride stands as a symbol of resilience\, visibility\, and the ongoing fight for equality and human rights. \nThe 2026 Milestone Celebration\nOrganised by the Equality Parade Foundation (Fundacja Parada Równości)\, this landmark edition is expected to bring together tens of thousands of participants\, activists\, NGOs\, allies\, and political supporters from across Poland and beyond. \nEvent Highlights\nDate: Saturday\, June 13\, 2026\nLocation: Warsaw\, Poland \n\nPride March: The main march will begin in central Warsaw\, with the traditional gathering point at Park Świętokrzyski near the iconic Palace of Culture and Science.\nEquality Village: Along the route\, visitors can explore community stands\, NGO initiatives\, queer art spaces\, and activist platforms celebrating diversity and inclusion.\nOfficial Pride Festival: The celebrations continue at La Pose with an evening programme featuring drag\, burlesque\, music\, and performances.\n\nWhy This Anniversary Matters\nOver the past 25 years\, Warsaw Pride has become a defining platform for LGBTQ+ visibility and human rights in Poland. From years of political resistance to standing firm during the “LGBT-free zones” era and periods of state-driven discrimination\, the march has remained a powerful act of solidarity\, courage\, and hope. \nThis anniversary is more than a celebration — it is a reminder of the progress achieved\, the challenges overcome\, and the work still ahead. \nWe invite you to stand with ING and Workplace Pride\, celebrate this historic milestone\, and march together for equality\, dignity\, and inclusion.

She is responsible for defining and implementing strategies that advance sustainability across the organization\, ensuring alignment with   environmental\, social\, and governance (ESG) principles. With more than 15 years of experience at Sodexo\, Lilian has built a solid and diversified career\, having worked in Communications and Human Resources\, and later leading Diversity\, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives for seven years prior to assuming her current role. \nShe also leads initiatives focused on fostering a more inclusive corporate environment\,  with an emphasis on the integration of refugee professionals and the protection and  support of female employees affected by different forms of violence\, notably through Sodexo’s Fadas Madrinhas program.  Lilian is a co-author of the book Diversity and Inclusion – Volume III (2025)\, contributing  the chapter “Refuge and the Climate Crisis”\, and of Collaborative MentoRHia\, with a  chapter dedicated to Refugee Women.  She holds a degree in Marketing from Universidad Complutense de Madrid\, a master’s  degree in strategic communication from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez\, an Executive MBA  in Strategic and Economic Human Resources Management from Fundação Getulio  Vargas\, and most recently completed an MBA in ESG from BBI of Chicago – BBI Business  Behaviour Institute. \n\nHans DocterDeputy Secretary-General\, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Netherlands) \n \nHans Docter is a senior Dutch diplomat and public sector leader\, appointed Deputy Secretary-General at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs\, effective August 2025. In this role\, he helps lead the Ministry’s global operations\, strengthening international stability\, organisational resilience\, and crisis readiness across embassies and consulates worldwide. He brings extensive experience from leadership roles in The Hague and abroad\, including Director of Sustainable Economic Development and Ambassador to Israel and Ghana. \nHans is known for his people-focused leadership and commitment to building diverse\, inclusive organisations. He studied Dutch Law at the University of Amsterdam and has dedicated his career to advancing international cooperation in a rapidly changing world. \nRainbow Dress\n\n \n\nWe would also like to announce that the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in São Paulo has arranged for the Amsterdam Rainbow Dress to be displayed at the venue throughout the day. \nThe Amsterdam Rainbow Dress is a living work of art\, made from the national flags of countries where being LGBTIQ+ is still illegal—often punishable by imprisonment\, torture\, or even death. When a country adopts inclusive legislation\, its flag is replaced with a rainbow flag\, making the dress an evolving reflection of global progress and the ongoing fight for equality. \nSince 2016\, the dress has been featured at international events and photographed in meaningful locations worldwide\, in collaboration with local communities\, creatives\, and activists. It serves as a striking reminder of both the victories achieved and the challenges that remain for LGBTIQ+ rights. \nThe Amsterdam Rainbow Dress Foundation works to raise awareness\, promote dialogue\, and support inclusion globally. Through partnerships with governments\, corporate organisations\, and civic initiatives\, the Foundation seeks to create meaningful impact and celebrate progress while highlighting where work is still needed. \nVisitors will have the opportunity to see the dress up close\, learn the stories behind the flags\, and reflect on the importance of global inclusion and human rights. \n#AmsterdamRainbowDress \n\n\n\n\n\nLocation\n\nUnibes Cultural\n\nRua Oscar Freire\, 2500 – Sumaré\, São Paulo – SP\, 05409-012\, Brazil\,\n\n\n\n\nunibescultural.org.br
