Global Business Standards on LGBTI Discrimination

Workplace Pride has collaborated with the United Nations Human Rights Office and the Institute for Human Rights and Business to develop global standards for business on tackling discrimination against lesbian, gay, bi, trans and intersex (LGBTI) people in the workplace and beyond. The new standards were launched by UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid at a press event at Microsoft Tuesday, 26 September 2017 with an appeal to the business sector to help move the needle towards greater equality and fair treatment for LGBTI people everywhere.

In the following months, we will help raise awareness about this unprecedented UN initiative and ask our members to do the same. The standards and related materials are accessible via a dedicated landing page on the UN Free & Equal campaign website at
