Dear Readers,

As the ‘LGBTI season’ concludes, we can look back at a number of amazing events and milestones. A new level of awareness was created in our Hong Kong event while the “LGBTI Workplace Brigade” took to the streets during the Amsterdam Pride Walk. Perhaps most moving though were the “Stories from the Heart” program which touched many of us and reminded us of the long way to go for LGBTI inclusion in society.

Fall is packed full of events and activities such as the Leadership Awards Gala on Nov. 2nd. As we move into the last part of the year though, let us pause to remember those that commit much of their lives to equality of our community.

IN MEMORIAM: With great sadness, we have learned of the untimely passing of our former accountant  Leendert Kruizinga.
Leendert was truly committed to LGBTI inclusion at work and he helped guide
the Foundation during a period of intensive growth.
For both of these, we are truly grateful.
This year, Workplace Pride celebrated Amsterdam Pride with its first content-related event, entitled “Stories from the Heart” which included 12 LGBTI activists from Africa and the Middle East.
