New results highlight continued progress in LGBTIQ+ workplace inclusion despite a challenging global DEI landscape

Workplace Pride today announced the results of the 2026 Global Benchmark, the leading international assessment of LGBTIQ+ workplace inclusion.

The 2026 results come at a pivotal moment as organisations around the world continue to navigate an evolving Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) landscape. While the overall median score declined by 5.7% compared with 2025, the Benchmark results demonstrate that organisations with sustained leadership commitment and a strategic approach to inclusion continue to make measurable progress.

This year’s results welcome KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Lenovo to the Advocate level, recognising organisations that scored above 90% on the Workplace Pride Global Benchmark and are setting the standard for LGBTIQ+ workplace inclusion. They join returning Advocates: De Nederlandsche Bank, ING, McKinsey & Company, PwC, RELX, Shell, Sodexo, and Unilever.

The 2026 Workplace Pride Global Benchmark also recognises the Ambassador organisations, which scored between 70% and 90%: Aegon Ltd., Ministerie van EZK en LVVN, and Robeco.

The results highlight significant progress among participating organisations, including Eneco, which improved its score by more than 20% compared with the previous year, demonstrating measurable progress and continued commitment to LGBTIQ+ workplace inclusion.

Beyond recognising organisational achievement, the Global Benchmark provides organisations with valuable insights into their inclusion practices. It measures performance across eight key areas, helping employers understand their progress, identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategies that support more inclusive workplaces.

Since its launch in 2014, the Workplace Pride Global Benchmark has become one of the world’s leading tools for measuring LGBTIQ+ workplace inclusion and supporting organisations on their inclusion journey.
