National Coming Out Day

National Coming Out Day (NCOD) is an annual LGBT awareness day observed on October 11, to support lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people to “come out of the closet“. It is a great opportunity for employers to demonstrate that everyone is accepted. By giving visibility to this day at the workplace, employees feel less anxious about sharing other aspects of their personality and their identity. Sexual orientation is a non-visible type of diversity and sometimes people need to feel safe before opening up to their colleagues, family and friends. Do you want to know more about NCOD?
