Global Conferences
Workplace Pride Foundation has had both a local (Netherlands) and international focus from the very beginning. This is due in part to the needs of our members who are active in many different countries and where legal frameworks and cultural settings for LGBTI people can be vastly different and often very challenging. Starting in 2015, Workplace Pride organised a conference in Krakow at Shell’s offices and have continued to organise events each year since in many places around the world.
It is important to note that Workplace Pride always works with local LGBTI civil society organisations to ensure that the correct tone and sensitivities are taken into account and that local LGBTI communities are included. We are also very grateful to have the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs as our frequent partner in our conferences around the globe.
