Come together – be together
For the tenth time, we are proud to present Copenhagen Winter Pride at Huset-KBH. Just like this summer, the theme is Come Together; an invitation to closeness and togetherness in the LGBTI+ community. This fits perfectly with the framework of Winter Pride, which is intended as an event to bring the Copenhagen rainbow community into the warmth of a cold time to learn more about each other’s lived experiences.
Copenhagen Pride volunteers have put together a programme of entertainment, debates and social events that offers something for all tastes and energy levels. As usual, the week is rounded off with a party, the Frozen Fantasy Show in Pressen.
Winter Pride’s debate programme covers a range of topics that share the common element of inviting the audience to learn more about other LGBTI+ people’s experiences that they may not have thought about before.
As always, the programme has a strong political element, and we will be joined by Sabaah, who will talk about the rise in so-called ‘anti-gender’ movements, and LGBT Asylum, who will talk about the conditions for LGBTI+ people seeking asylum in Denmark. There will also be room for tenderness, including an event focusing on stories from long-term relationships and a debate on how becoming a parent as a queer person affects your sexuality.

Party on – also without alcohol
Winter Pride week finishes with a party to remember, the Frozen Fantasy Show at Pressen on 24 February. Just like last year, we’re also throwing a Winter Pride Celebration on Friday, where you can party the night away in an alcohol-free setting when DJ Sofie Jacobi plays to a red-hot dance floor. Winter Pride Celebration is a free party where no alcohol is served and intoxicated behaviour is not allowed.
Pride Night Live is back!
Once more, the Culture Group at Copenhagen Pride invites you to Pride Night Live. This time it will be model, actress and winner of ‘LGBT+ Person of the Year’ at the Danish Rainbow Awards 2023, May Lifschitz, who will present the many exciting guests who come to the studio. Among other things, you can look forward to theatre, musical performances and interesting interviews with various actors who are all working to develop their own areas within the LGBTI+ community, be it the nightlife, the art and culture scene or basic conditions and rights for members of the community. As always, you can watch whether you’re in the studio or at home – we’ll be livestreaming the entire show.
All in all, it’s going to be a fantastic week under the rainbow, and we look forward to welcoming the entire LGBTI+ community and its allies to Winter Pride Week 2024!
